Anniston, AL
Raymond provided building envelope commissioning and in-situ performance testing for this new federal courthouse, which includes a district courtroom, a bankruptcy courtroom, three judges' chambers, and secured parking. Our team reviewed envelope component submittals to establish testing protocols, then tested the fluid-applied air barrier for air leakage, adhesion, and thickness; precast architectural concrete panels for coating adhesion; glazed aluminum curtain wall for air and water infiltration; sealant joints for adhesion in peel; stone cladding for wall drainage; and the membrane roof using electronic leak detection and infrared imaging. Blower door testing and whole-building thermography confirmed airtightness. Deficiencies were corrected during construction and the project finished on schedule.
