Aberdeen Proving Grounds Renovation of Bldg E3330 DB RFP, MD

Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

Raymond prepared a design-build RFP for the renovation of Building E3330 at the Combat Capabilities Development Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground. The three-story facility, originally constructed in 1941, houses eight organizations across office, laboratory, training, library, communications, and secure spaces, and had received only minimal repairs since construction. Working from a facility condition assessment and severely outdated drawings, our team developed concept design, drawings, design analysis, specifications, cost estimates, and a bid schedule. Scope addressed all major building systems, secure spaces designed to SCIF construction criteria, ADA-compliant access and restrooms, hazardous material abatement, a new stormwater drainage system, and expanded parking, with stakeholder charrettes anchoring each milestone.
