City of Savannah Oglethorpe Police Headquarters Renovation

Savannah, GA

Raymond was retained by the City of Savannah to provide envelope assessment, design, and full architectural and engineering services for the Savannah Police Department Headquarters, a load-bearing masonry facility originally constructed in the 1870s. Commissioned as a building envelope investigation into water infiltration, the project grew into a comprehensive interior and exterior modernization. Scope included masonry repointing, brick cleaning, new flashing and sealants, replacement windows and aluminum storefronts, full interior finish replacement, restroom renovations, and life safety and accessibility upgrades including a new ADA ramp. Later phases added civil engineering for parking lot redesign and repaving, with stamped documents for grading, drainage, erosion control, and pavement.
