The Phillips-Hawkins Residence Hall was experiencing water intrusion, and its roof had reached the age threshold UNC Greensboro uses to trigger replacement under its internal facility criteria. Raymond was contracted to provide re-roofing design along with bidding phase support, construction administration, and related improvement services. Because the building is student housing, both the design and the schedule had to account for replacing a roof above occupied residential space. Raymond's scope carried the project from initial design through bid documents and into construction oversight, giving the university one team responsible for the design intent and for verifying that the installed system matched it.
