Georgia State University Baseball Stadium

Atlanta, GA

Raymond served as structural engineer of record for Georgia State University's new baseball stadium in Atlanta, providing full structural design for every major component of the facility: foundations for a 1,000-seat pre-engineered metal grandstand, a 500 SF press box, two CMU and steel dugouts, a team facilities building, and two 3,000 SF restroom and concession buildings. Our team developed framing schemes during design development, completed gravity and lateral load calculations for construction documents, issued structural specifications, and prepared the Statement of Special Inspections required under IBC Chapter 17. Throughout design, Raymond coordinated with the architect, civil, and MEP teams to resolve structural interfaces, foundation revisions, and utility conflicts.
