East Carolina University Science and Technology Building Roof Restoration

Greenville, NC

The existing roof at ECU's Science and Technology Building was a TPO single-ply membrane over polyisocyanurate insulation on concrete decking. Raymond conducted field work to support bid document development, including measurements, test cuts, and review of infrared imagery and record drawings provided by the university. Nuclear meter readings confirmed the locations of wet insulation within the assembly. Our team prepared a narrative and cost estimate to support ECU's decision-making, then developed plans and specifications for roof restoration across Roof Areas A through E. Scope covered removal of the existing membrane, installation of new roofing materials, and new flashings and related specified work.
