Raymond was engaged to design a state-of-the-art chocolate factory and retail store in Suwanee, Georgia. Although the team initially expected to continue another architect's work, it quickly became clear the project needed to start fresh. Raymond conducted a preliminary site visit to determine the optimal layout for both production and retail space. A distinctive challenge was accommodating specialized equipment imported from Italy: manufacturer cut sheets arrived in Italian, and proprietary concerns made English documentation slow to obtain. Midway through design, the client added 3D renderings for marketing use. Raymond delivered on schedule, allowing the owner to secure permits and begin construction, with follow-on coordination for fire marshal comments.
