Benefits/Challenges

Unique Challenges

During the ASTM E783 test, our team had to overcome the challenging size of the curtain wall assemblies. Standard size ASTM E783 equipment was insufficient to create the pressure differential necessary to correctly assess the curtain wall assembly. However, we worked with local Raymond partners to design the proper solution using appropriately sized vacuum auxiliary blowers and more accurate oil gauges for the 2-story structure.

To complete our scope of work, our team needed to work within a multi-disciplinary construction site with many ongoing construction activities. We proactively communicated with each contractor to ensure our testing did not interfere with work schedules, while ensuring our testing services were completed in a timely manner.
