District Education Support Center Warehouse

The DESC Warehouse was required by Beaufort County Schools in order to store various materials for the District Education Support Center. Raymond developed the design of the warehouse building which incorporated various sections, some with heating and cooling capabilities. The warehouse was designed to have an elevated racking system and a drop off drive for the incoming trucks dropping off materials.

Our Value Add

A feature of this project was the incorporation of a solar farm to the back of the property. This 73-acre site houses a 1-megawatt array of photovoltaic panels. These panels are separately metered and feed back to the power grid. Our team’s design of these panels helped Beaufort County School’s initiative to “go green.”
